Renea A Taylor

Associate Professor Renea Taylor is the Co-Head of the Cancer Program at Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute. Renea graduated with a PhD in Reproductive Endocrinology in 2003 at Monash University and completed her postdoctoral training in stem cell research. A/Prof Taylor is one of Australia's leading authorities in translational prostate cancer research. She co-leads a Prostate Cancer Research Program that is renowned for a world-class patient-derived xenograft (PDX) collection that is used to identify novel therapeutic strategies to treat prostate cancer. A/Prof Taylor has been a member of ESA since 1997 and was co-chair of the ESA Program Committee from 2016-19. She was awarded the Novartis Junior Scientist Award (1999) and Servier Award (2006) and is a long-standing member of ESA Women in Endocrinology, fostering the career development of many your women in both basic and clinical disciplines.
